The duty on import of raw sugar to the Eurasian Customs Union rise to $248/MT in May 2026. The average monthly price for raw sugar at the ICE stock exchange was $313,02/MT in April 2026, respectively, the import duty in June 2026 will remain at the level $248/MT.
Up to December 31, 2023, sugar imported into the Kazakhstan is exempted from import customs duty – for the total volume of not more than 100 thousand tons, Kyrgyzstan - no more than 20 thousand tons as well, for Armenia - no more than 20 thousand tons.
