The duty on import of raw sugar to the Customs Union dropped to $240/MT in August 2026

The duty on import of raw sugar to the Eurasian Customs Union dropped to $240/MT in August 2026. The average monthly price for raw sugar at the ICE stock exchange was $326,03/MT in July 2026, respectively, the import duty in September 2026 will dropped to $203/MT.

Up to December 31, 2023, sugar imported into the Kazakhstan is exempted from import customs duty – for the total volume of not more than 100 thousand tons, Kyrgyzstan - no more than 20 thousand tons as well, for Armenia - no more than 20 thousand tons.
