According to the analysis of customs declarations of FCS conducted by Sugar.ru, in January 2022 Russia has imported 5.0 thousand tons of white sugar (HS code 170199) (in 2021 - 5.7 thousand MT; in 2020 - 5.8 thousand MT).
In the period January, the main countries exporters of white sugar to Russia were BELARUS (93.92%) and AZERBAIJAN (2.63%).
In January 2022 Russia has exported 25.5 thousand tons of white sugar (in 2021 - 17.6 thousand MT; in 2020 - 78.0 thousand MT).
In the period January, the main countries importers of white sugar from Russia were KAZAKHSTAN (77.96%) and UKRAINE (13.39%).
