According to the Federal Customs Service of Belarus, conducted by Sugar.ru, in May 2019 Belarus has imported 4.8 thousand tons of white sugar. According to the results of 5 months of white sugar import campaign, Belarus has shipped in 15.7 thousand tons (in 2018 - 26.5 thousand MT; in 2017 - 17.6 thousand MT).
In the period January - May 2019, the main countries exporters of white sugar to Belarus were RUSSIA (64.92%) and POLAND (34.58%).
In May 2019 Belarus has exported 132.1 thousand tons of white sugar. According to the results of 5 months of white sugar export campaign, Belarus has shipped out 132.1 thousand tons (in 2018 - 182.2 thousand MT; in 2017 - 191.3 thousand MT).
In the period January - May 2019, the main countries importers of white sugar from Belarus were RUSSIA (79.28%) and KAZAKHSTAN (11.40%).
