According to the analysis of data by the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine for January-August 2020, conducted by Sugar.Ru, import of sugar (HS code 1701) has made 1161 MT (118.0% compared to the same period in 2019), export - 81819 MT (38.0% compared to the same period in 2019). For August 2020 import of sugar has made 158 MT, export - 14691 MT. . The largest exporters to Ukraine in monetary terms were: France (20.6%), Denmark (17.8%), Mauritius (13.8%), Other countries (47.8%). The largest importers from Ukraine in monetary terms were: Turkey (23.1%), Libya (10.7%), Other countries (55.5%).
