According to the analysis of data by the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine for January-June 2021, conducted by Sugar.Ru, import of sugar (HS code 1701) has made 102477 MT (12421.0% compared to the same period in 2020), export - 2205 MT (4.0% compared to the same period in 2020). For June 2021 import of sugar has made 2036 MT, export - 18 MT. The largest exporters to Ukraine in monetary terms were: Brazil (58.4%), Poland (27.1%), Belgium (4.3%), Other countries (10.2%). The largest importers from Ukraine in monetary terms were: Israel (41.8%), Germany (29.6%), Moldova (15.4%), Other countries (13.2%).
