Export and import of white sugar in January (FCS)

According to the analysis of customs declarations of FCS conducted by Sugar.ru, in January 2021 Russia has imported 5.7 thousand tons of white sugar (HS code 170199) (in 2020 - 5.8 thousand MT; in 2019 - 26.3 thousand MT).
In the period January, the main countries exporters of white sugar to Russia were BELARUS (98.57%) and AZERBAIJAN (0.67%).

In January 2021 Russia has exported 17.6 thousand tons of white sugar (in 2020 - 78.0 thousand MT; in 2019 - 11.1 thousand MT).
In the period January, the main countries importers of white sugar from Russia were KAZAKHSTAN (54.83%) and UKRAINE (26.23%).
