According to the analysis of data by the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine for January-August 2023, conducted by Sugar.Ru, import of sugar (HS code 1701) has made 1K MT (21.0% compared to the same period in 2022), export - 263K MT (827.0% compared to the same period in 2022). For August 2023 import of sugar has made 90,0 MT, export - 11,9K MT. The largest exporters to Ukraine in monetary terms were: Poland (41.2%), France (28.7%), Germany (6.4%), Other countries (23.8%). The largest importers from Ukraine in monetary terms were: Romania (30.4%), Italy (11.4%), Bulgaria (10.3%), Other countries (47.9%).
